Co-Founder & Board President

Bill married his wife Tuula in 1991, and together they have two grown children - Hanna and Alex.

Bill has had a successful career in Chicago and the surrounding area working as an Account Executive in IT, most recently focusing on cybersecurity and networking. His love for Jesus and people motivates him to be generous and creative as he works to be a good steward of the resources God has given him.

Bill has a passion for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through his daily life. He has been involved in youth ministry, music ministry, prison ministry, and has been an active member of his church for decades. He traveled to Africa in the early 2000s and met with the Ugandan government and the US Embassy to discuss his vision for partnering with a community to enable economic development and education as a manifestation of God’s love. That trip eventually led to Bill traveling to Burora in 2011 with his friend Denis Ndyabawe (current WorldHope.us Board Member). Denis brought Bill to meet Pastor Lazarus who had 50 vulnerable children in his care. Bill immediately recognized this was where God had led him.
