There is so much need. We estimate there are more than 200 children left in the community who would benefit from the programs offered by WorldHope.us. Our current programs are at capacity, and we have had to turn children away in order to ensure we can take proper care of the children we already have. This is heartbreaking! As we meet our sponsorship goals for the children we have, we have a vision of expanding our dormitory to allow for more children to attend.
-
The total monthly cost per child is $105.

All the children at Middle Cross Primary School and our Secondary Scholarship kids receive the same excellent level of care, regardless of sponsorship. We fill the gaps with donations from our ministry partners who give in other ways.
-
Yes! Sponsors are our partner in meeting the daily needs of each child enrolled in our program. This partnership allows other donors to focus on improving facilities, providing a Medical Clinic, and expanding our programs.
-
No. Some of our children are orphans, with no known family. Most of our children have at least one family member in the community. Some children even go home on some weekends. However, all of the children come from extremely vulnerable families and situations where they are not able to receive basic care. Being a WorldHope.us child allows the children to thrive, preserves their childhood, and gives them a future with HOPE.

Our educational terminology mirrors the British System. Primary education is Primary 1 - 7. When children complete P7, they can test to enroll in secondary or vocational programs. We do not have a secondary program on our campus, but we pay fees to send our students to other secondary boarding schools when they reach that stage.
Grade levels do not indicate age. Children progress through levels based on knowledge and mastery. Children do not age out at 18. We are committed to helping our students who continue to work diligently to progress all the way through secondary school.

In 2025 we are building a Medical Clinic to serve our students and the local community. We will have a doctor on staff and a 24/7 nurse.
We are also raising funds to build an indoor gathering space for the campus so children can eat meals inside, and simply be able to gather all together for any purpose.
